Drawing & Painting Open Studio
Three hours to draw or paint with a teacher. Be sure to stay for the life drawing class. It's an extra hour included in your booking.
What you’ll do
Work in whatever you brought — pencil, charcoal, watercolor, oil — on your own subject or on the still life set up for the afternoon. What you get is a conversation about your picture, not a lesson aimed at the room. Stay all three hours or come for one, and if you have never drawn, say so and one of the teachers will put paper and pencil in front of you. Diana's Life Drawing class follows right after. It is a free session for those who have attended Open Studio that day. Diana teaches this class, and a dressed model holds a pose while you work. Carry on with your own piece instead if you would rather.
What to bring
Your own materials if you have them; there is paper, pencil and paint to borrow if you do not.
Who teaches it
