Rell has taught arts and languages for forty years, and she founded Riverhouse Create. She teaches Thursday’s Drawing & Painting Open Studio and Life Drawing. She leads the Performing Arts.

Born and raised in Stockton, Deborah has been sewing since middle school. She runs the needlework program and brings other teachers to the table.

A potter and painter working in botanicals, drawn from years of hiking and kayaking along the Gulf Coast.

Sherri is an art teacher who helps youth and adults, including artists with exceptional abilities, find their inner artist. Her media include pottery, oil painting, watercolor, and oil pastels. She leads Riverhouse Workshop Foundation’s adult pottery program.

An outsider artist in Stockton who has been making work since childhood. She co-hosts Tellin’ Tales.

A Fairhope potter known for his wood-fired ceramics. He teaches primitive pottery, fired Creek-style without a kiln.

Betty taught costuming at San Jose State University for 30 years and was a founding member of the San Jose Opera Company. She now teaches drawing and costuming at Riverhouse Create.

Megan holds a BFA in Ceramics and Painting from the University of Montevallo and works in Fairhope. At Riverhouse Create she teaches Pottery.

A retired educator, folklorist and storyteller, Harriet lives in Fairhope and has written four books about Baldwin County. Her most recent are Tale Tellin’ Southern Style and Tale Tellin’ from Way Back When, and she hosts Tellin’ Tales here.

An award-winning potter from Brewton who also paints in pastel, oil and watercolor. A founding member of Riverhouse Create and a guest teacher in Pottery.

As a member of the Fashion Guild of Hawaii, Diana participated in fashion shows with her garments embellished in Bead Embroidery. On the mainland, her focus turned to Bead Embroidered Jewelry, to adorn both body and decor. A top award winner in multiple juried fine art festivals, she has taught classes in several states, striving to keep the skills and techniques alive by passing them on to other generations.
